MaaS Demand Study

Exploring factors influencing Mobility-as-a-Service adoption and demand using discrete choice models and survey data.

This project investigates the potential demand for Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) in Indian cities. By analysing stated preference surveys and travel diaries, it identifies how service attributes, socio‑economic factors and trip characteristics influence travellers’ willingness to adopt MaaS offerings. Discrete choice models are used to estimate demand and capture differences in preferences across user groups. The findings help policymakers and operators design equitable and sustainable MaaS platforms tailored to local travel needs.
